Hi,
Recent
developments about "End Run Corp" have made the average investor justifiably worried about investing.
The "End Run Corp" is a red flag warning model for many other US Corporations that have NOT been given the red flag.
Unfortunately the checks and balances in our business structure did not work perfectly. If you think your investments
are free from such creative opportunities you have the right to do so at your own risk when you use your own money.
The stock market as we know it should probably be illegal. It needs big changes. Currently it is the best method we have
for sharing the wealth and the risk. Things are going to change in the market but the progress will be slow prior to the
depression panic. Possibly I can help you. I look at things from a logic point of view.
As a
investor you are a lot better off if you own something you know about. When
things change you will have some
idea why. As a stock holder you are a part owner of a company. Since basically you are signing some of the payroll checks
check you should have some idea why someone wants money out of your account. You need to know as much as you can
about the investment you made with your hard earned money.
What is the product? Who will buy it? Will it be around
1 year from now? 5 years from now?
Who is the greatest competition? Why are they competitive
with your company?
Who is going to manage your company? How much do they get paid?
Is that amount reasonable?
What research have you done on the person
that is going to manage the company with your money?
Have you visited the company or attended any of the stockholder meetings?
Have you seen their products?
What are their plans for the future? How risky is this plan?
Where will the other investment money come from?
Do you know why the stock for this company fluctuates? Is the
valuation of the stock related to some suggestions by stock brokers or
market analysts. What is the PE ratio for the stock? Does it
make sense? Is it too good to be true or is it so bad that someone should
not be investing in this company?
What is the attitude of the employees about this company? Does the
company have a lot of employees who are not productive or efficient? How
strong is the employee staff? Is there a lot of turnover? Why should
the employees be loyal to the company?
Does the company have hidden assets? Is there any indication
that they are "cooking the books" to make the stock
look good. If there have been recent changes in top management are
you comfortable with the excuse they gave for doing so?
